The Floor is Lava is an original game prototype. It consists of a complete game loop of a 3D platformer adventure game. I scripted the movement controller and inventory system and integrated GameDev.TV's saving system. The games main feature is a series of boots that allow the player to cross a variety of barriers including lava.

Rail Shooter
This "rail shooter" game is a game prototype created alongside the GameDev.tv Complete C# Unity Game Developer 3D Online Course. It features a player on a set path or rail, firing on enemies as they enter the screen. The games key feature is it's utilization of Unity's timeline to set the path and events of the game.

Key Features

Player path is determined by key-frames in Unity timeline.

Enemy events are triggered in timeline to have them enter the screen at the correct time.

As enemies approach they can be hit with projectiles to take damage.

Enemies with depleted health are destroyed and added to the player's score.
Additions

In addition to the key features implemented as coursework I updated the player model.

Ship engines scripted to turn as the ship steers in any direction with realistic motion.

Particle effects on engines show movement to improve the flying experience.
